Don: Yes, I'm 76 years old. The nursing home thing, I don't understand how that all works. How can we protect our finances? Let's say I go into a nursing home, you know how everybody--

Tom: Don, that is a great question. Let's start by saying this. You are out there in the community and you're talking to your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and you hear these words, "Oh, mom is going into a nursing home. It's $10,000 or $12,000 a month. Everything mom ever worked for is going to be eaten away at this nursing home. Nothing we can do about it." Don, there is something you can do about it.
