Does a lady bird deed include the home contents?

Attorney Tom Olsen: Allan you're on WDBO go ahead.

Allan: Hey, good morning Tom. My question is if I do an enhanced life estate deed, does it cover all the stuff inside the house, the furniture, the car in the garage, the grill outside?

Attorney Tom Olsen: No.

Allan: How far does the coverage go?

Attorney Tom Olsen: It'd be no different than any other deed, Allan, and therefore the deed is only going to be for the land and the permanent structure on it. It is not going to be for the car in the garage. It is not going to be for the furniture. Does that answer your question, Allan?

Allan: Yes sir, thank you very much and thanks for doing the show and y'all do a great job. Thank you.
